Mark Chang, Ph.D.

Dr. Chang is an engineer in Talas Engineering specializing in biomechanics, human injury analysis, computational modeling, and accident reconstruction. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Brian Chen

Brian Chen holds a B.S. in Marketing from NEIU. He has mostly held sales/marketing roles with small businesses while assuming various functions to support operations (i.e., graphic design, IT admin, doc control, etc..). He is currently pursuing a career in PCB layout & design.

Mao-Ter Chen

Mao-Ter Chen works at Link A Media Devices as analog IC design engineer. His specialty is on baseband analog blocks such as PLL, DC-DC conversion and memory design. He has MS degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is interested in entrepreneur as well as business operation besides major field.


Jeff Chuang

Jeff Chuang works at Cisco as a software engineer. His specialties include L2/L3 networking protocol, PCB Design. He is interested in micro-controller related applications, embedded systems and entrepreneurship. Jeff received his M.S.E.E. from University of Southern California and his B.S. in ECE from NCTU.


Yi-Jan Ho

Yi-Jan Ho currently works as a design engineer in a high tech company. She recieved her M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and her major is circuit design and full-chip verification. Besides working with computers, she likes to meet people from various fields and make friends.

Aaron Lee

Aaron Lee just recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with Masters and Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, and a minor in Supply Chain Management from the Tepper School of Business. He is currently employed at Cisco Systems working in effort of the Cisco collaboration portfolio.

Huang Lee, Ph.D.

Huang Lee works at AT&T Labs as an engineer. His expertises include optimization techniques, wireless communications, and wireless sensor networks. Besides engineering, he is also interested in business strategy and operations.

Huang Lee has a Ph.D. in EE from Stanford University. [more]

Johnson Liu

Johnson Liu works at VMware Inc. He is interested in entrepreneurship and software, more specifically, operating system and computer networking. Johnson received his M.S. from Stanford University and B.S. from Caltech, both in electrical engineering.

James Shen


James Shen works as an analog circuit design engineer in a start-up in Silicon Valley. His interest is in analog circuit design,  and also in other disciplines such as wireless communications, optical networks, and optoelectronics. James has Master degrees in EE and Communication Engineering from Stanford University and National Taiwan University, respectively.

Alice Tan, J.D.

Alice Tan is an attorney with some experience in corporate law. She is interested in business development, IP and environment. Alice received her B.S. in business administration from UC Berkeley and her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.

Y.C. Tan, Ph.D.

Dr. Tan currently works as a consultant in the areas of membrane technologies, micromachining, and microfluidics. He received his B.S. in bioegnineering from the University California San Diego and his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the University of California of Irvine. Dr. Tan has published numerous papers relating to microfluidics, emulsification in microsystems, and lipid self-assembly. He is the author of a book chapter in the Hand book of Nanotechnology, and the inventor of several US patents.

Evelyn Tsen

Evelyn Tsen has been working in the accounting field since graduating from Cal State East Bay with a B.S. degree and has dimensional experience with computer components, post production, and bio-medical equipment industries. Currently working in the IC testing industry, she is interested in managerial accounting, marketing techniques and business development.

Claire Tseng

Claire Tseng works as a purchaser/planner in a start-up company that provides network traffic capture devices. She graduated from University of Texas at Dallas with a MBA-Supply Chain degree. Living in a Engineer-surrounded Bay Area, Claire isn't like other people who have technical background, but is from the business concept training and the social work background back in college. She likes to pay more attention on people issues and likes to make friends.

Philip Wang

Philip Wang is a veteran of the video games, web proxy server, and search technology industries as a member of software development teams for leading startups and Fortune 500 companies. Member of TAITA-SV and co-founding member of previous incarnations of young TAITA, Philip is also active semi-professionally in the performing and visual arts. He graduated from Columbia University with a BA in physics.

Sabrina Yen

Sabrina Yen has been working in the high tech industry since graduating from UC Berekely with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. In her spare time, Sabrina enjoys travelling, finding good coffee shops, hanging out with friends, and is a closet nerd that breaks things apart and can't put them back together (shhhhh!!!).
