Q: I would like to ask one very basic question. What is Young TAITA? A: Young TAITA, a sub-group of TAITA, is a Taiwanese American professional organization that aims to help young Taiwanese developing their careers and entrepreneurship. Q: Wait! Actually, I want to ask an even more basic question. What is TAITA? A: Taiwanese American Industrial Technology Association (TAITA) is a Taiwanese American professional organization in Silicon Valley. It was founded in 2003 with a vision to promote the collaboration of United States and Taiwan in the areas of industrial, scientific and technological development and investment. Q: Now I know what TAITA stands for, but what kinds of events does Young TAITA host? A: We have monthly workshops and seminars that cover entrepreneurship, career development, and finance related topics. Additionally, we also have social events and monthly hiking events, which provide very good opportunities for networking with peers. Q: I Do want to network with more people, but ... who are the members of Young TAITA? A: People in this organization have various backgrounds including engineering, marketing and business management, operations, finance, investment, banking, accounting, law, bio-technology, medical device, pharmacy, health services, etc. Most people are in their 20s or 30s. Some are about to graduate and some are experienced middle/senior managers. Plus, we also get lots of chances to network with many success entrepreneurs from senior TAITA. Q: I am interested, but am I qualified as "Young" ? A: Anyone who think they need mentors in their careers are very welcome to join Young TAITA. That usually includes people who are about to start their careers; who are somewhat new to starting their own companies; or who are entertaining thoughts of starting their own companies. Q: Sounds just like what I need, and I would like to give it a try. What should I do next? A: Easy! Just come to our next event and see if you like it~ :) Please subscribe to mailing list and you will get notified of our next event. Q: Before I go, if I have more questions, who should I contact?
